INDOX is currently conducting a full range of trials in all common cancers, but particularly those which are more prevalent in India, such as cancers of the head and neck, cervical, gastric, gall bladder and oesophageal cancer, as well as breast and colorectal cancer.
INDOX has conducted a series of epidemiological research studies, to investigate the common causes of cancers in Indian populations and low cost methods of treatments. This has included:
- A comparison of cancer incidence rates in Indian and Pakistani migrants to the U.K. to rates amongst whites and rates in India and Pakistan.
- A descriptive study of colon and rectal cancer in India.
- A study of the consistency of reporting of breast pathology in the INDOX network.
